Hip-Hop music Training Workshop in Haiti


The network of Franco-Haitian cultural cooperation, proposes a 2-days training workshop on music Hip-Hop, conducted by the Haitian composer and singer of hip-hop K-Libr’ Mystic and the French slammers Gaël Faye (born in Burundi) and Edgar Sekloka (born in France from parents Cameroonian and Beninese), of Group "Milk Coffee and Sugar".

In the program: rap, expression and musical setting. The workshops will include a training to the sound technical specific to Hip-Hop (DJing, mixing, scratching...) and a writing session of text.Participants will present their work to the public on the evening of June 28, at a concert restitution.

Date of workshops : Jacmel on 24 and 25 June; Port-au-Prince on 27 and 28 June

A selection on candidacy will take place and the final list of participants will be announced on July 14. Note that only the candidates available during the two days of the workshop will be accepted.

This Training Workshop on Hip-Hop music in Haiti, is supported by the French Alliance of Jacmel, the French Institute of Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (Fokal) and the Swiss Cooperation in Haiti.
